Campus Policies and Practices for the Students

2.1 Student Conduct
The success of school education basically depends on the fundamental idea of self-discipline, harmony and cooperation. Certain standards of student conduct are necessary to ensure that pupils seeking to express their rights do not, at the same time, interrupt the rights of others. The purpose of disciplinary control is to help create an atmosphere that promotes the best possible learning environment.
Student conduct mainly covers the following:
i. Students must learn to take care of the school property. They should refrain from scribbling or scratching on school desks, chairs, furniture or walls, etc. Students should keep the school premises clean by putting litter in the appropriate bins.
ii. Since a stronger emphasis is put on 'English Language', students should speak English in and out of their classroom.
iii. Students must carry their transparent pencil case or bag during all exams.
iv. Entering classrooms or school premises after school hours without permission of the authority is prohibited.
v. The school will not tolerate any form of inappropriate behaviour during school hours. Students are to behave in a befitting manner so as not to bring shame or discredit to the school.
vi. Any damage to school property while even playing in the school yard must be reported to the office at once. Students will be liable to pay for any damage caused by them. After replacing the damaged goods/repairing the damaged property, any extra amount left will be donated to the community service fund.
vii. The school uniform is the emblem of the school. Students must keep in mind that whenever they are in school uniform, they are representing the school. Therefore, any student found involved in any wrong doing outside the school premises while wearing the school uniform will be expelled from the school.
viii. A student who faces disciplinary action for any misconduct will not be allowed to attend classes for a week or a month. Any class test affect her/his grade for which no make-up test will be taken later.
