About the Club
Josephite Bangla Club (JBC) was mainly founded by the respected teachers of St. Joseph International School in order to enhance the minds of young students to progress them even further into the depths of this subject The registration for JBC was held in September within which a lot of students registered their names into the club with registration fees. The grand opening ceremony of Josephite Bangla Club held on “05 November 2024” with the assistance of our Chief Convener- Miss Nafisa Nasir Shorna, and all the Bengali teachers, Ashraful Sir, Sangeeta Miss, Purnima Miss, Shahana miss followed by the presence of our Vice Principal along with the approval by our Principal. The ceremony opened with fresh flowers being handed out to the the club members and teachers thus representing a fresh start to the journey. History: The club was opened with a thought of bringing culture and tradition together hand in hand to the students. The initiatives were then ideally carried forward by all the Bangla teachers mainly Miss Nafisa Nasir Shorna, Miss Shahana Nasrin, Sir Ashraful Haque. They were then assisted by the neighboring teachers ahead. Purpose: The purpose of this club was mainly to improve writing skills of the students, along with teaching them how important the language actually is to our culture. Along with that, correct pronunciation of words, deliberate speeches with correct grammar, reading and writing with fluency, and many more. Goals and Specifications: 1)Correct pronunciation of words by sufficient reading 2)Poem recitation with fluency 3)Improved handwriting 4) Spelling and Dictation 5) Speech development 6) Directed writing with profound vocabulary
